Set up Microsoft Authenticator on Phones

To download the application on your own work phone, please follow  instructions below:

1. Open up the MaaS360 application on your device, and click on "App Catalog" 

2. Scroll down untill you see "Microsoft Authenticator", and click on the "Install" button.

3. If you have never installed any application before through MaaS360, it will ask you to choose a store you to download the app from. Please select Google Play Store and click Always

4. Once the Play Store opens up, please click on "Install"

To set up the app without having to log into Citrix:

Open the app on your phone.

Select: Add a work or school account

It will ask you to: Scan a QR code or sign in.  Choose “sign in”

It the asks you to “Pick an account to continue” select your SAMH account or add it as your SAMH email address

You’ll be asked to confirm this is you so you can choose the old way to authenticate 0 by text or call.   Once you have done this the authenticator app is set up for future use.

When you try to log into Citrix you will be shown a 2 digit number.  Open the authenticator app and type this number in, then approve sign-in by entering your phone’s PIN (tap on Use PIN) or using a fingerprint if that is set up.  The app will now say “Approved” and you’re in.
