How to Open an Email Attachment and Save it to Your T Drive Folder in Outlook 2016

Please follow this simple guide on saving attachments to your T Drive.



1. Open the Email and Identify the Attachment


  • Open Outlook 2016.
  • Click on the email with the attachment you want to save.
  • Identify the attachment within the email.


2. Open and Save the Attachment


  • Double-click on the attachment to open it.
  • Look for a "File" or "Download" option in the attachment window.
  • Select "Save As" or a similar option.
  • Navigate to your T drive which will be shown on the left hand side 
  • Click "Save" or "OK" to save the attachment to your T drive.


3. Confirm and Check Your T Drive


  • Wait for the download to complete (if prompted).
  • Open Windows File Explorer (press "Windows" key + "E").
  • Verify that the attachment is in your T drive folder.
